Salvador Ruiz introduced the session commenting on the relevance of potential reforms that could be introduced in our regional and local tax systems, and the high probability that in a short period of time, a minimum ground of taxation for the entire State will be established by the law in the Inheritance and Donations Tax.

Equipo Economico and Thomson Reuters-Aranzadi present at the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence on Tuesday 24th a book led by Manuel de Vicente-Tutor, Managing Partner of Equipo Economico and Professor of Financial and Tax Law at ICADE. The book has been written by prestigious tax experts (professors and university teachers, magistrates and tax inspectors on leave of absence), who approach very topical tax issues in different chapters of the book.

Martínez Rico has participated in the debate panel "Scaling Up successfully" and has exposed on the different problems that the entrepreneurs face to grow successfully once the start-up begins to consolidate. In this sense, he has reminded the initiative taken by the European Commission last November to improve the conditions for new businesses to increase on size, create more jobs and improve Europe's competitiveness.

Salvador Ruiz introduced the session remarking the SOCIMI model - Listed Investment Companies in the Real Estate Market - as an investment vehicle, in so much that as of today there are already 5 listed companies in the continuous market and another 41 are listed on the Alternative Stock Market

The Conference on "Relevant Corporate Income Tax Matters: announcement of the 2016 tax period" was held with great success at the headquarters of the Business Confederation of Madrid-CEOE (CEIM), whose main objective lies in deeply analyse the innovations produced in tax matters during the last year.
