Equipo Economico (Ee) has collaborated once again in sponsoring the Spain Investors Day (SID), the economic and financial event with the greatest international projection in Spain. According to the figures provided by the organizers, the Xth edition has been attended by 41 large listed companies, more than 150 international investors and around 1,200 guests from around the world, which has beaten the attendance record reached last year.

Ricardo Martínez Rico, CEO of Equipo Economico, introduced last Monday the presentation "Perspectives for the Spanish economy in 2020: alternatives to economic policy" at the Foundation for Research on Law and Business (FIDE). The forum was presented by Francisco Uría, Responsible Partner of Financial Services for KPMG EMA and member of the Academic Council of FIDE, who has also moderated the subsequent debate.

The general insight about the state of the Spanish economy has become more pessimistic in recent months. This becomes evident by the lower level of family confidence which, measured through the Consumer Confidence Indicator, has shown the lowest levels in the last five-year period, as well as the interest in Google searches of terms associated with unfavorable economic contexts, such as "crisis" or "dismissal".

The Central Economic-Administrative Tribunal (TEAC) has confirmed that it is necessary to notify the taxpayer of their request for assessment so that it can be included as an evidence of interruption in the tax audit procedure.
